Now that Qantas has stopped all flights both domestic and international, Alice Springs is even more cut off than ever.  Qantas is the only airline serving Alice Springs, so no passenger flights in and out and none of the regular cargo that travels on those flights.  The sign as the news agent today indicated that there would not be any interstate news papers until Qantas resumed flights.  I can’t wait to learn what else travels in the bellies of those planes.  Just one more adventure in the Alice!
