Three Makes a Family

It’s been a rough couple of days. We turned down the first child we were offered. For a number of reasons, it just wasn’t the fit combination for making our family. The planets were in the right places, because they then offered us the opportunity to meet our new son Dennis. He turns three next week and is completely adorable. It’s going to be really hard to walk away and leave him here until we come back in a few months for our court date to complete the process.

Please excuse the pink spots, he’s currently recovering from a case of the chicken pox and each and every one of his spots has been treated with hot pink antibiotic ointment.
