A sunny afternoon, a zoom lens and cowboys – it doesn’t get much better than that!

You guessed it, Paula went to the rodeo. The Bushman’s Carnival Rodeo is more like a ranch rodeo than a flashy PRCA event. But it was a great opportunity to get up close for photos and the action was gritty and intense. I posted only a few of the photos that don’t need much cropping or touching up. I promise more rodeo pictures soon. In the mean time, check out the Aussie rodeo.

I agree about your photography. How amazing. I love seeing Australia through your photography. I never realized how beautiful it was. Could you bring back the guy in the Intensity photo in May???

Thanks! I’m happy to know others are enjoying my pictures. I took a photography class in college and have dabbled in it for years. Now that I’m a lady of leisure in a foreign land, I have the time and inspiration.

Please don’t be discouraged by your own pictures. Photography is a percentage game. The more frames you shoot, the better your chances are of capturing a great one. There are hundreds that don’t make it past my monitor!

Too many Wranglers, too little time.
