How hot is it?

Alice Springs set a new record by having 13 consecutive days over 40 degrees Celsius. That would be 104 to those of you in the northern hemisphere freezing you parts off. Don't worry about me - the humidity is under 10%, so it's a dry heat! I think I'm getting used to it. Today, I actually said "It's not bad with the breeze. We don't need a golf cart; we're only playing 9 holes." Not the best decison, I've ever made, but I played the best round I've had in the past couple of weeks. Looks like I'm settling in nicely.

Wow! That is crazy hot! We are going to be having -30 to -20 wind chills the next couple days! Don't you wish you were back in Minnesota!

Paula,
Glad you're toasty warm. This morning we woke up to -10°F (with a -22° wind chill) and right now in the warmest part of the afternoon its 8°F. We're freezing our bums off. Send some of that heat Federal Express, will ya?
