Christmas Eve

The day started early on Christmas Eve. At 5:30 AM, Dave was building the fire and I was making coffee and getting the brisket ready for the smoker.

It was marinated overnight, then rubbed and rolled for a long day of smoking.

There was much cooking, chopping, dicing, slicing and stirring.
But it was worth all the hard work - It was a unanimous decision that a good time was had by all.

I think they liked the brisket!

Hi greetings and good wishes for the New Year.

Lovely photos.

The proof of the pudding is in the eating. I can see the brisket wiped clean. I wish I was there:)

Have a nice day:)
