I saw my first wild camel this week. Being so easily entertained, I got quite excited. Having a camera with me, I decided to get out of the car and sneak a little closer for a picture. It appears that although they’ve been declared feral and a nuisance by the Australian government, some of these creatures are quite friendly and enjoy having their photos taken! A fence separated us, but I think she would have stepped over the fence if I had a camel treat in my pocket.

Would you classify this as a "close encounter of the furry kind?" Great to see you're making new friends in Alice already! We just looked up your blog site today. Of course today to us is still Wednesday Sept. 19th and it's already Thursday morning in Alice. I'll look up some lemon recipes and send them to you.
