Customs Update

(You don't have to care about this but it's my exciting news for the day)
My shipment has cleared customs!!!! The candied jalapenos were confiscated along with some Christmas decorations that involved pinecones. The customs agents complimented my shoe collection. (Don’t know if they were male or female agents and I’m not asking).

The container is now headed to the Adelaide rail yards and will hopefully head to Alice on Friday. Keep your fingers crossed.

I'm glad your stuff has arrived in the country you are in. So now you can make it home.

Paula,

With time on your hands I think it would be a very smart idea to see if you can haul your belongings home from the train depot with a group of new found camel friends. The sight of Paula hauling her belongings home with a caravan of camels would be interesting and some what expected. You could rationalize this step with "Learning and Understanding Alice History and Culture". At the end of the trip you may be able to adopt a camel. Not sure on nutrition, kennel size or pooper scooper requirements. Might want to rethink last step. Glad to hear your stuff made it. Don't forget to have fun Paula.

I loved Gary's suggestion. However, I checked with both Avis and Enterprize and neither had any camels for rent.
